Where’s Your Fearless Girl?

Growing up I was fearless. I was that girl who climbed trees in a party dress and had scraped up knees to prove it. I also kept my beloved rock collection in my white patten leather fancy party purse (much to the chagrin of my mother), the one with the makeshift long string in lieu of the busted handle that wore like a cross body rock bag. I was a fearless, badass 7 year old girl and I could do anything.

I wish I could say that always I kept that fearless girl with me, but as I got older my fearless girl faded and it wasn’t until recently that she and I got reacquainted.

It wasn’t until recently that I remembered the wild, fearless girl that I was. It was then that I came to the conclusion that if you’re not living fearless then you’re not really living.

For my entire professional career I’ve worked with money. And I can tell you this, nothing scares people more than taking a look at their money. Many of clients have been women who have experienced a sudden change. A death. A divorce. A reinvention.

Life can get hard, sad, rough, and outright exhausting. And money? It still scares people. But it doesn’t have to be that way. We don’t have to shame and judge ourselves for where we stand financially. After all, we can’t shame ourselves into financial freedom. Are you ready for a better way?

So grab your (7 year old) fearless girl, we have work to do.
